How is it powered? Batteries or line cord?
We have a Foscam that is very similar, it came with a dynamic DNS URL. Does anyone know if Pyle provides that as well? (So that the URL remains consistent even if the power goes out.)
Our similar camera (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00466X9SY/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M3T1_ST1_dp_1) is a line cord, I’d guess the same. You can kinda see a hole for plug in the image of the back.
Some bad reviews on the associated app…any thoughts on that?
So, it says wireless, but does it needs to be hardwired to the network or an electric source?
Just trying to figure out if I can just screw it to a wall and walk away or if it needs to be installed.
Our similar Foscam required connecting it via hard-wire to set it up, after which you can use wifi and hang it up on the wall and just leave it. You will need an outlet for power though.
