Seems optimistic to call so few calories a days worth of food.

What can I say? I guess they just raised the price.

I calculated the calories/per day before I saw the above post. 667, but who is counting?

It is so low I almost wonder if that total 18,680 number is a mistake?

If anything, one should supplement these meals with more sodium, such as spam or another kind of meat. Heck, just buy a bucket or two of freezdried meats? But it comes down to the bottom line to all the number crunchers. 670-700 calories or ZERO. You choose

I think <700 calories/day is starvation.

On the other hand, a 20 lb bag of rice has about 30k calories and costs about $10…

If you look closely at the prepared meals you see things that are not included in this bucket. Sure makes the food look real good though. Presentation, it’s what it is all about!

So it’s more like a 10 day supply for one person who isn’t doing heavy physical activity.
