WORD GAME - Continue the Song Lyric

Starting a song lyric game - join in, won’t you?

How to play:

Give a song lyric, but leave out the last word in the line. Next person starts their lyric with your missing word.

Example:

Maroon 5

“After school, walking home, fresh dirt under my fingernails And I can smell hot asphalt, cars screech to a halt to let me _____”

Next:

Musical Youth

Pass the Dutchie pon the left hand _____”

Existing lyrics?
Made-up lyrics?
I’ll need to google the correct endings to some of the lyrics I’ve never heard of…

This is a great idea, but requires a multi-step thought process.

I might be able to join in, as I am a big fan of lyrics, but does the key word have to be the last word in the sentence, or can we just have it included somewhere in the lyrics?

Let’s go with existing lyrics only.

I originally thought last word only, but if it helps, let’s go with ‘included somewhere in the lyrics’.

I’m a huge lyric fan, so I’m happy trying this out!

OK, I’ll give it a try, but only if I can use The Google. Maybe it will get easier as we go along.
