The Werner brand 22 ft multi ladder occasionally goes on sale for $149 between home depot and Lowes. Right now Home Depot sells it for $169. I own it and love it very much (for those of you not stuck on this brand).

Where is it made?

It is designed and engineered in the US by people very experienced in articulated ladder design, and, like the other articulated ladders sold on Woot, they are made in China.

Many of these pictures are showing the wrong ladder and are therefore misleading.

The “straight ladder” picture is the same for both and and not correct for either. Count the rungs. The 17 ft has 8 rungs. The 22 ft has 10 rungs. Many of the pics show a ladder with 12 rungs. This is misleading to buyers who think “cool, this ladder will reach for me to do that.”

The pics are fine. These ladders have an inner section that pull out, hence its ability to work in multiple situations.

(I have 5 of this type in varying brands and reach lengths from 13’ to 26’.)
