Will it work with an iPod Touch?
I have one works great, wish I could have bought for this price… paid a lot more… ugh…
How do these affect cell phone reception?
How firmly does it hold the phone considering it doesn’t lock it in from all four sides?
Wonder if it will work with a 2G Iphone? I’m not sure if the 2G and 3G Iphones are the same size…
At 2.9 oz that means you increase the weight of your phone by 60%!
will this work with an iPod touch 1st gen?
Just got a 3GS, and just said to my wife that I need to get a backup battery. I can’t even make it half a day without needing a charge.
Perfect timing, Woot! (for once)
In for 1
Is there a reason why this won’t work with the original iPhone? They all have the same connector at the bottom and probably take the same power.
Has anyone tried using an original iPhone with this and is there anyway to squeeze it in?
lithium polumer battery ???
L.M.A.O, you just invented the all-new iBrick!
now-a-days I walk around with my little usb charger, most of the time I can get a quick charge in somewhere. This seems kind of expensive for something that will last just 500 charges? Is that a half life or something?
i’ll buy it when it comes with the iPhone it’s displayed with. ![]()

– The original iPhone is a different shape. It will not fit.
Here’s a side view. Not too fat. I was worried since woot didn’t post a profile pic that they might be hiding it’s massive thickness, but it appears to be slim enough. Still ugly though!
FYI, for $7 you can get a retractable USB, plug-to-USB outlet and car yo USB outlet through the zon.
FYI: Lithium Polymer is an inherently safe(r) battery technology, and does not tend to get hot (or catch fire) the way other modern rechargables can, if they’re slightly defective. It’s used, for example, in the new electric motorcycles. Think about it–the battery sits roughly between your knees–if it caught fire, there’d be some interesting suits.
The 500 charges is because, like all rechargables, the battery in this thing will only recharge so many times before it won’t hold much of a charge any more. Just they’re being pretty honest about it. The exact number depends on how much you discharge it, how long you leave it discharged, temperature, and other variables, but 500’s a very reasonable guess.
Okay, there is there an iTouch bias?
