Had these in my cart at $39.99 for a couple of days. Went to purchase today and the price had increased to $49.99 a pair.

I’m in the same boat. At 39.99 I’m a buyer, at 49.99 it doesn’t seem like a great deal. No ANC is what kills the almost 50 pricing for me.
