Hmm. Putting bicycles or other semi-valuable things in my yard, in a cloth tent that conspicuously says “STASH” on the front…
…doesn’t seem like a good idea.
This may well cover 1 cord of wood. But is 129 worth something that a 6 dollar tarp can do? Albeit it is more convenient and easier than the tarp.
Put a roof over it if you live in a snow infested location.
Mine was great in the summer, but once winter hit, the snow destroyed it.
I’ve had one “mounted” to my deck for about three years now - it weathers GREAT - which is more than I can say for the apparently disposable tarps we put over our furniture. Those things shred themselves in the wind every winter.
All I used to fasten it down was a few removable deck screws, so when it comes time to do some cleaning, it’s simple to move.
in it we have a shelving unit with gardening stuff, and depending on the season either a stack of rain barrels, or a stack of spare deck chairs alongside.
Have had ZERO complaints - except when the kids get something out and leave the zipper open…
Is it lockable?
I’ve been looking at these for a while to store stuff while I clean out garage - could take months. There is a similar item (Tidy Tent)(same size) at Costco online for $75. Material is different, I don’t know if one is better than the other, but you may know. The Costco one’s can be connected giving you twice the space for $150. Anyone know about materials ?
Wonder if my smart car fortwo would fit in this for the winter?
The assembly instructions note a “Back Lock Flap” to insert lock inside the YardStash.
I came to the comments specifically to see how it would hold up with snow; Thanks for the heads up!
I don’t think it is lockable unless you lock the zipper pulls. The locking bar on the inside is to secure items to deter theft if the zipper is opened or the material is slashed.
I have one purchased for the same price a year ago. Very solid and holds a lot of stuff. Definitely not lockable, but great for stuff that is currently cluttering up the back yard.
It’s only 32" deep. How wide is your car?
