Yeti owners: Are these really worth the price? Do you regret not just buying the generic brand from a big box store?
I need something to keep my water ice cold for at least 3 hours, and all of the traditional plastic coolers and water jugs are terrible. I’m hoping this is not my only option.
I got a 10oz when it was on sale for $12.99. It came with no lid, it was most likely in the description, but I didn’t see it at the time. Depending on what you are doing with it the having no lid can create an issue. One thing I noticed with not lid, obviously, is it doesn’t keep temp very well. It does however keep you hand from burning when you have coffee in it. I like it but for certain circumstances wish it had a lid. Side note…ebay has them with lids for very good prices.
Hi, I was given a big Yeti mug (I don’t see it for sale here) as a gift. It’s able to keep iced tea cold overnight and the ice intact. I haven’t tried any of the knockoff cups - some probably work ok, some probably don’t.
Hope that helps! Bill
Yeah, I missed the no lid disclaimer on the 10oz rambler. Not worth the price, you can buy direct or anywhere else for that matter for 19.99 with lid. The lid is 4.99 so do the math if you buy from woot. Shame on you woot - no discount here
…and it was less expensive because it was $12.99 (Still only close to what I would call a “deal” without having a lid)… Come on Woot let’s get back to really having some good deals on here.
No, it’s not worth it IF you don’t are about carrying around some logo. I’ve seen the comparisons between a larger tumbler of a YETI v Walmart’s Ozark Trail and the OT performed just as well for a third the price.
That said, if you can find it really cheap, then go for it. I found a YETI 16oz Rambler for $16 on AMZN.
Agree, I found clearance mossy oak tumblers and they work for what I do. But I have also heard really good things about rtic stuff…if they ever come in stock again.
