Look for a number to call, or near by bar.

If neither then attempt to return it.

Call the person or drive by their house. Hand it to them directly. I’ve done it before - trust no one else.

It all depends on where it was found. If the address is close by, I’ll drop it off in person and if further away, then I’ll let the police contact the person.

Definitely return it or turn it in. Some may argue that if someone really needed the money they wouldn’t have lost it but that’s a bunch of crap. Accidents happen. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I kept it, no matter how badly I needed the money.

If it’s got ID, I return it. If it’d been just cash and no ID… finder’s keepers :cowboy_hat_face:

I’ve done this before, since there’s a id in the wallet try looking up on Facebook and messaging the person and see if you can meet up to give it to them if they are local if not put it in a usps flat rate box, it’ll cost about $7 to make someone’s day a hell of a lot better and send it out at your own cost.

Take the cash return the license and credit cards to the police. You want honesty? That’s it.

If it has an address and it’s near, return it to them. If it’s far away, turn it into a police station.

Depends. How close is the casino?

I would either drive to the address and give it to them, assuming it’s not too far away, or look to see if their phone number is in the wallet, or call one of the credit card company’s to notify them so they can contact the owner of the wallet, or take it to the local police station, if all else fails.

Living in a smaller town, I’d first try to contact the person or deliver it personally. Too many needy people out there living paycheck to paycheck. I may even add a little cash depending on they’re circumstances.

Try to find the owner. If i can’t I would give it to the police for them to find the owner.

This has happened to me before and depending on where I found it, I would either go to customer service at the store or mail it to them. If I did find their number then I would call them or put a post on to Facebook
