I can find almost nothing about these packs, even on the Wenzel site. Has anyone figured out exactly which model packs these are?

Wenzel Dashington? (be sure to say it with a British accent)

Best I can find for comparison is this over on ebags: http://www.ebags.com/product/wenzel/hydrator-14l-hydration-pack/254424

Dimensionally, it’s only a bit bigger than they larger of these two bags.

Anyone know if these are good for running? They look bulky.

Specs are on Woot… looks fine to me… In for 4… three ultra lights and one regular size. Great for grandkids, wife and son when they go biking which is often… Christmas stuffer #1

This is the best deal on the internet right now. I’ve been researching for weeks and the lowest price I’ve seen is ~$30 dollars for a cheapo. These look great!

They look like they are more suited for hiking. You would probably be better off with a Camelbak Marathoner or Dart.

Any idea if these bladders are BPA free? The website is pretty dismal.

I have little experience with this brand but worst case scenario you could always just buy a CamelBak bladder and mouthpiece for about 30 bucks and stuff it in one of these packs. Even after the new bladder the total price would be about half of buying a new CamelBak bag. I’ve used my camelbak countless times over the past 10 years (Zoid, very similar to the lightweight one here) and it has been an absolute lifesaver. If you’re in the market for something like this I would jump on it.

I just bought a High Sierra hydration pack for $30 last week. Argh.

The Bladders that come with the packs are BPA free.

Anyone know if these are water-resistant? Or is all my gear gonna get soaked if it rains?

The packs are water resistant, however, they are not water proof.

Which color is which model?

You’d think that would be a reasonable bit off information to include in the description.

Blue = 18" technical
Orange = 16" ultra light

The distinction is made in the photo captions.

In for 2 ultralights. One for me, one for dad. Good hunting pack I imagine.
