i purchased one of these a while back. beware, it is fairly small. also, the zippers that seemed pretty heavy, failed without any real stress placed upon them. otherwise, the canvas material and straps were very secure.
overall a poor purchase for me.

I hate that for you because I’ve had the opposite experience with this pack. I have two of these plus several other Yukon bags and they all work great.

I abuse one with all my music gig gear and it’s held up fine. Another has all my bug-out kit in it so it mainly lives in the truck but my other Yukon bags get regular use.

I bought this last time it came around on woot. Seems very solid and well-made. Lot of pockets and compartments, I’m still finding new ones. Love it!

I had the opposite effect, I got this last time and it actually was bigger than I thought for the price. I’m in for another to make a car bug out bag!

This is my daily bag and has served me well. The tall zippered side pockets fit a full size stanley thermos and I keep my EDC including first aid, glasses, phone and computer items in the front pockets with plenty of room left in the main pouch for legal sized accordion files.

The first bag I ordered had a defect in the plastic buckles on the straps which Yukon took care of. I’ve had no trouble with the zippers. I wish that these additional colors had been available back then as it can be hard to find matching molle pouches which match.

No storage for my high capacity magazines? Sheesh, what’s the point then?

I got this bag a few years ago and really really like it. Unfortunately the seams are coming apart right where the shoulder straps come together. I could understand if I beat the hell out of it, but this is just my briefcase essentially. For the price, I won’t complain, and if it actually fails, I’ll gladly get another. Space is good, plenty of storage and a 32oz nalgene will fit in the side zipper pouch cozily.

I bought one last time around. Overall, I really like it - very well made and lots of storage.

My only suggestion is, if you’re planning on hauling a laptop around with it (like me), get a padded sleeve for it. There really isn’t any padding in the laptop pocket in this pack.

Happy Friday fellow Wooters!!

I also got this the last time it was offered and I love it so far.

If I had any complaints it might be that there are too many compartments and you may spend some time looking for something that you don’t use too often.

I read your comment and though “side pocket?” Never noticed any, so I looked at mine and there they are! More compartments!

I got one in a previous Woot. I had 1 problem: The shoulder buckles were backwards and the strap didn’t hold. I just reversed them and they work. Also the pack does NOT have a waist belt. Not 100% required but it would be much better with one. Most of the weight is supposed to be carried at the waist, not your shoulders. Just my opinion…

I bought one of these almost a year ago. I travel for work a lot for a week at a time. This bag carries pretty much all the clothes I need to have with me plus my laptop. I love this thing, almost picked up another today just because.

I bought one of these last time I saw them on woot. The area between the straps is very narrow. I have somewhat broad shoulders, so this was very uncomfortable. Also, as mentioned below, the zippers and some of the stitching is not up to par with the kind of wear and tear something with “yukon” in the name should be able to handle.

This is a nice pack for me. I plan to use it for BSA summer camp for 8 days. It has held a lot of gear for a few weekend camp outs so far and very impressed with storage area and compartments, comfortable shoulder straps. almost want to purchase a 2nd one…
