This, plus some MREs and a light sleeping bag, would be a great emergency bag to throw in the trunk.

As a first responder I see numerous issues with this kit. Using a rubber tourniquet can create further injury when used. Latex gloves are a big no no in the field, nitrite is best based upon allergies. Only a couple bandages the med kit is not sufficient and paranoid is great, if you know what to do with it. Piece together your own kit for half the price at your local Wal-Mart. Also the dollar tree is an excellent place to put together a large, but cheap, med kit.
