I think the woot is a better deal myself.

That one’s plastic. The one Woot is offering is made of aluminum alloy.

The lense is poor quality which makes the light is very dull even at close distances. Not a good light at any price.

Fwiw, I am surprised that it only takes (what) six AA batteries. I figured any good wailing would require at least a few dbl D’s.

Wanted to like it. Wildly over-hyped. If you want a club, buy a stick. This is NOT bright at all, and nowhere near 1000 lumens. It’s a joke. I doubt its 500, closer to 300. No wonder it is being sold at 80% off. Still overpriced. Save your money.
