I really wanted this knife to work, as I have several items from YO that are great. Be advised the handle needs a lot of work before you can use it without gloves. Edges are not rounded over around the butt of the knife, and the handle material does not meet flush with the edges. This creates hot spots on the knife, which lead to blisters and other issues, within a short period of usage.
YO did replace the soft wood used as the handle material, but they didn’t do anything to correct the poor fit of the handle to the frame.
