Anyone know the Torso and Waist sizes for these?
I’m looking for a backpack for my 14 year old son but one that will last him through a possible growth spurt. Torso is 17 and waist is 28.

anyone ever tried to use the Yukon Outfitters Trail Pro 25L as carry-on luggage?

@dakra05,

Please see the below chart for each pack’s sizing. Any of these packs would essentially be a good pack for your son, but would recommend the Trail Pro 50L since it’s the most versatile with the sizing and adjustability. He’ll be able to continue to grow and adjust the pack to fit his size!

@brad1825,

For sure! The Trail Pro 25L’s dimensions are: 19.25" x 12.25" x 7"

General Carry-on Baggage max dims are approximately 22" x 14" x 9".

Thanks for checking us out and send us some pics from your trip!

I can’t find any reviews on the Trail Pro 50L (the one of interest to me.) Anyone know of some reviews or anyone have this pack for a quick sense of its usability and quality? I’m just looking for something useful for basic packing in the Sierra, nothing heavy.

How large of a water bladder can the 25L pack hold?

@ 6842392,

We have a 3L hydration bladder we use in house that fits perfectly. The bladder’s dimensions are: 18.75" x 6.75". So I would say if you have 2.5L or a 3L bladder already that you’ll be good to go!

Thanks Yukon Outfitters for addressing questions . I see that the Odyssey pack weighs 6.16 lbs. Do you know how much weight could be saved by leaving the 10L pack off?

Thank you Yukon, I’ve purchased your hammocks before so I will take a chance on this… but just remember, if it fails on my 14 year old son while we are hiking part of the AT in August, I’m sending smokey the bear after you! :slight_smile:

You got it, thanks for checking us out!

The 10L pack weighs in at 1lb. So you can keep the handle of your toothbrush on and fill up on jerky now.

Hahaha, we might have a bear head logo but still not a fan angry mercenary bears on a mission. We appreciate the continued support. YO has produced packs for several years gaining extensive competency in this world. We’re excited and proud to debut our new Hiking line, and think your son will really enjoy his new pack for years to come.

If you ever have a problem, comment, cool photo, or just wanna chat please feel free to reach out to us directly at customerservice@yukon-outfitters.com and check out of FB page.

Thanks again and just remember… Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires :wink:

Thanks! I emailed the Yukon Woot address trying to figure out how to adjust the pack but worked it out on my own. Most bags are pretty much similar but it would be great to have a video on your website showing how to adjust it.
