…And a Review

Does anyone know if there’s a difference in quality between this Yukon bag and similar bags from Condor or Mil-Tec?

I can’t say specifically about the Tactical Alpha backpack, but I bought a different Yukon Tactical bag, and I’m really very happy with it - I go downrange a lot, and it has held up like a champ.

Purchased this a few weeks ago through Woot. AMAZING. I served in the US Army and would have been happy to recieve this as issued item. Strong zippers, heavy strength fabrics, good padding. Has sleeves for hydration pack and hoses, as well as SAPI plate insert (Plate not included obviously)
Most companies throw ‘Sport’ and ‘Tactical’ onto products to make them sound cool, Yukon actually makes their Tactical bags worthy of the title.

Totally agree. I usually pick one up each time they show up on Woot. Wish black was an option but I won’t complain. One feature not usually mentioned is that there is a horizontal area on the bag front which is the material used for velcro military nametape application. The nametapes are very inexpensive to order and they look great on these bags.

I’ve had mine about two months. Good design, good material, but the stitching is already coming undone. Pretty bad workmanship.

Watch the video review, “ya know” and “whatnot”

Had mine for about 6 months now and the stitching above the left shoulder strap started ripping within the first week I had the bag.

The bag is spacious with plenty of room. I took it on a 2 week vacation camping and it was very useful. My only complaint is the stitching which many others’ have complained about as well.

Great rugged pack, better quality than I expected for the price. I hope they come out with a black one. I highly recommend this pack.
