Will the laptop compartment fit a 15.4 well? I can’t seem to see the laptop compartment in the pictures.

Anyone else find it ironic that Yukon Tactical cannot ship to Alaska??

The laptop compt. has a zipper on the side. I have an ipad with a heavy rubber case and it’s tough to get in through the slot. A laptop will fit in the main compt but it won’t be padded.

The pack is set up for over the left shoulder. You cannot switch shoulders.

I bought one of these the last time it came around and it came with a horrendous chemical smell that skunks up anything and everything you stow in the bag. Six months later, it smells less, but it still stinks.

Been wanting to jump on one of these Yukon Tactical deals, got Froggy and jumped, we’ll see if they’ve solved the zipper problem.

I like the Yukon Alpha Tactical backpack i got form woot a few months ago. HOWEVER, if you have a problem with it, good luck. The material on the yoke of the straps is coming apart and despite the past comments from Yukon Customer service to email them with an issue, I have not had any response to 2 emails sent.

Yes. Copy of the sling pack is very popular. Some sling over different shoulder and there’s a small difference in size.

I have a Dell XPS15 from about 3 or 4 years ago (I don’t have the measurements on me, but it’s probably a little over 15 inches) and I don’t think I’d ever be able to fit it through the zipper opening of the padded pocket. I use it for my Kindle and my 3DS - if I had one, I’d probably use it for a tablet, maybe a chromebook/netbook.

The main pocket is big enough to hold my XPS15, but the neoprene sleeve I have makes it too big to fit (the sleeve is a bit oversized). I have two Grid-Its that I sandwich it with. It works for me, because I tend not to travel with my laptop on longer trips.

How well does this distribute weight?

If one were to load this up with a hydration pack and some hunting gear and then be wearing it all day, exactly how badly is my shoulder going to hurt?

I bought one last time it was listed on woot. I bought the grey pack, smelled terrible when it arrived, 2 weeks in the smaller of the straps pulled away from the pack. I emailed YT and they shipped me a new pack, received olive instead of the grey I had originally ordered. Now, an inner compartment lining has ripped, tore at the seam similar to the strap that failed. I love the design of the pack, but the durability has not met my expectations.
