I own this device and would not recommend it. The problem with the design is it requires a minimum of 12 volts to operate. 8 x 1.5V batteries = 12V. The batteries last for about 5 minutes regardless of the type of battery you use. The only way to make this useable is to modify it to use 3S RC Lipo battery pack and it’s not easy to find one that will fit inside the battery compartment. Nuff said.
