Fairly bad reviews on Amazon.

These are garbage. Bought them a few months ago. The rounded cover melted off of all of them. Never got a single bug either.

I got these from Woot! several months ago. The rounded cover keeps falling off of one of the bulbs. However, they do kill lots of mosquitoes. They kill so many mosquitoes in fact that I have to blow out the dead skeeters with compressed air once a week.

They work better for attracting and killing skeeters if you turn on only the UV Bug Zapper part. To do that, you rapidly flick the lights on, off, on all within 1 or 2 seconds.

The rounded plastic cover keeps falling off one of the bulbs. They have poor build quality.

The bulbs seem to mostly attract and kill only mosquitioes and not many other kinds of insects.

They are very bright (maybe 100W equivalent LEDs although they claim 60W) if you use the bulb portion. I use them mostly for the Zapper part by itself, and that is when they seem to kill more skeeters.

Woot! sent out a recall, but then retracted the recall saying that it was a different brand that was recalled.

Agreed, I installed one inside, the flies that got inside and past my cat just laughed at the bug zapper and annoyed me. My cat finally got them. The damn thing failed after 2 months.

I won’t argue the point that they are garbage insofar as the round cover keeps falling off and even the disc with LEDs in it hangs out once the cover comes off, but they do kill lots of mosquitoes. As I said in my other post, the build quality on these sucks. At $5/bulb though it is comparably priced to standard LED bulbs but you also get the bug zapper part. Last time on Woot is was billed as a Mosquito killer, now they are saying that it kills bugs. Most of the bugs killed are mosquitoes.

I bought a pack of 4. The first two burnt out in one month each. NOT A GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!I bought four as well, and all burned out within 3 weeks.
