Biggest POS to install I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning. Bad instructions, poor WiFi compatibility. If you have a secure system, forget it.
I thought I might have had a defective unit. Got it exchanged, and the same installation troubles plagued this system.

A gizmo like this has to have a recording buffer eg my SkyBell when triggered will have recorded for 5 seconds already Prior to the the motion being sensed or the button being pressed. Does the Zmodo have this?
I was going to ask if anyone knew how this compared to the Ring Pro. Got my answer ![]()

I have I guess the older version bought on woot for $45,a month ago…Not sure what the WiFi extender does except blink green…( nice night light.)Anyway the door bell is ok for what I paid.
If you choose not to pay for the cloud services you still get a short video snippet. Which is how I use it. I can see live when I’m not at home…The lens doesn’t swivel very far…but I can see political pollsters and talk to them at a distance…confusing instructions so a watched YouTube’s on the install.
