FYI, I’ve bought these same shorts at a different store. The current government shutdown has lasted longer than these “mesh” pockets.
Because I thought the pockets were not strongly made, I only kept my keyless car fob in them and after two washes did they start tearing apart. I didn’t even bother putting my phone in them because the weight itself would tear a new hole and banish it to the shadow realm. Everything else about the shorts were nicely made but the pockets were as supportive as a wet napkin.
White mesh shorts are pretty see-thru.
