1. Do you take a daily vitamin? / 2. Do you think it does anything?
Sometimes and hopefully it does something
Hair has really improved.

Try to remember to…..Yes definitely for certain vitamins…. for example, B12
I have a prescription for Vitamin D because I have cramps in my legs while sleeping, it took a few months but yeah the cramps did stop.
Woot, I am giving you a side-eye. 1. You don’t need my vitamin routine / 2. I am not buying Woot brand vitamins.
As far as the Wootforum community, I think the best vitamins are ones that you have identified a lack through medical assistance or careful observation. Yet, vitamins, especially multi-vitamins, are often just adding more to your urine stream and draining your wallet.

Not currently but I have at times, and how much they work really depends on you. If your diet or lifestyle makes them relevant, then they do. If they are redundant based on diet or lifestyle, then not so much.

If you answer Yes to 1 but No to 2, I have to ask why you are taking them at all, then?
I’m considering D3/K2 as a way of weaning off prescription statins. Magnesium (chelated glycinate) is a definite need although not a vitamin. Electrolytes for potassium. Niacin (B3) is also a possibility.
Generic multivitamins are pretty useless.
Consult with your PCP!
If you take a daily vitamin and think it does nothing, why take it? Is it for the Placebo Effect?
Sometimes? You have to take it consistently to build up the vitamins to do anything for your body. And only if your body is lacking in something is it truly effective. Most Americans have terrible diets so a multivitamin is most likely effective for everyone.
Because my wife and my Dr told me to. Costco Mature Multis are fairly cheap.
Do consult your own doctor. But please also be aware of this:
Risks of Side Effects: High doses of omega-3 supplements can increase the relative risk of atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) by about 25%.
Eat Real Fish: Eating two servings of fatty fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel, or herring each week provides healthy fats along with vital nutrients like vitamin D and selenium (which is also needed for cardiac health).
Mega doses of Vitamin K are not safe - can cause deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary emboli.
Many are Vit D deficient so work with your doctor to check. But be aware huge chronic mega dose of this fat soluble vitamin that can accumulate may result in skin irritation and even temporary psychosis.
If by “daily vitamin” you mean a multi-vitamin, the answer is no.
If you mean any vitamins, why yes, I take several of those, just as I have for nearly 4 decades now.
And if I miss them for more than a few days, I do notice the difference.
Red Yeast Rice and diet have helped my cholesterol, and glucosamine has made my knees stop popping.
I take Vitamin C and N. (Caffeine and Nicotine)

I might eat a gummy form of vitamin whenever I can remember but not on a daily basis

I once did but as inflation hit it was between gas or vitamins.
