After months of “doing my own research” I bit on Skil 12V power tools here on Woot!. It’s been about a year and I’ve zero regrets. Used as both DIY tools and recreational vehicle assembly at work I’ve yet to be disappointed.
Lightweight, high torque, fast charging.
If the 12V Skil won’t take off the bolt neither will co-workers 18V Makita.
The giant light ring on the impact is literally brilliant, turning the darkest of engine bay nights into day, all the guys at the shop are impressed by it.
Backed by a 5 YEAR warranty (Even Snap-On is just 90 days) I’m very, very pleased with these tools.
