Once the batteries are fully drained and no longer have a sustained working time, are they replaceable?
These are pretty decent. I got the 3 dollars off during the last Prime member discount offer. I mounted them on my back yard fence and they’ve worked flawlessly since installation. At a little more than $1 per light, you really can’t go wrong. To the previous poster, you realize they are solar powered but as far as replacing the battery, I doubt that is an option.
To the previous post about the batteries: Usually the cheap solar panel plastic gets ruined before the battery looses its capacity. Don’t expect them to last more than a year in Texas heat/sun during summer
Can these be taped not screwed? Thinking of using them on our pool cage.
Living in West Virginia I find cheap solar lights last longer if I seal all the edges where water (and ants) can get in with clear silicone caulking.
The ants are especially annoying when you realize your light is dimmed because they built a colony inside the lens.
As for replacing the batteries? If the specifications don’t tell you the only way to tell is to open one up and see.
Environmentally friendly solar light owners should always remove the batteries of worn out solar lights and recycle them instead of throwing the whole light in the garbage. The heavy metals in rechargeable batteries is toxic.
I’d use velcro so you can glue half to the pool cage and then the velcro will be less likely to come off on its own than if you just used the tape.
Or use those plastic zip ties.
How do these look when screwed to the end of a 2x4?
What’s a pool cage?

You put it around your pool to keep it from running away.
When you have a pool in your back yard, you have to have a fence around your yard to keep small children (or animals) from running into your pool and drowning.
But if you can’t build a fence (maybe you live on a farm where it’s impractical) or you want additional protection beyond what the fence gives you (because you want your own children to be able to play in the back yard, but not be able to get into the pool without you supervising), then you can build a cage to encompass just the pool itself. This can also be nice if you have a big problem with wildlife that can hop the fence and then get trapped in your pool.
They actually include heavy double sided tape to use if you can’t screw them in.
Pool cage. A large enclosed area built around your in ground pool. To keep bugs, geckos and alligators out! Live in Florida.
Sorry this is late but the vendor just replied that yes, they are replaceable.
Well, the ones I bought in June 2023 are junk. It’s now October, amd only three of the sixteen are still working. I’d love to return them get my money back.
