What type and battery chemistry?

Whatever they are, don’t buy them. Many didn’t even last one year. I mounted them on a fence encircling my back yard and after 18 months, all of them were dead. Absolute garbage.

Yepp same after a month one stopped then each one died. One year later x I think only one still works.

I’ve had mine outside since early spring. All still work except one that was bad out of the box.
But even working they are not very bright. I have 3ft wide steps on my deck, and with one on each side of every other step you can see the steps but that’s about it. They work more as a guide letting you know something is there than a source of light to see anything.
