I doubt these will ever go bad, but just keep this in mind if there’s any desire to resell them or save them for long term.
Honey theoretically does not go bad. Peanut butter can go rancid, no? Did you read otherwise? Curious if it is sort of a prepper substitute for the lard bars.
I had some peanut butter granola bars and they absolutely tasted terrible 2 weeks after the expiration date.
So you will get them 6 days before they expired. Hmm. Nope. 32 bars take time to savor.
It says 2 pack, but the package shown is a 1 pack (1.4 Oz).
As per the listing:
This product ships as 1.4-ounce packet 16 count in a pack of 2. (32 total cups).
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
I bought a warehouse sized box before and the inside peanut butter mixture started turning from its natural brownish color to a faded yellow, about two months before the expiration date. I had eaten only two early on, but forgot about it until two months to go. It had a stale taste, if you ate it alone, but it was tasty with my coffee.
Didn’t want to risk waiting to expiration so I finished it up before that. But if you are picky about your Reese’s, try to eat them way before expiration.
Peanuty goodness for January!!!
trust me, do not buy these. the pb will be dry, crumbly and disgusting. i’m a reese’s connoisseur and would not steer you wrong.
That makes sense. Thank you.
Got these on a previous deal, same expiration date.
They were inedible and immediately thrown in the trash. Woot! happily refunded my money.
Peanut butter was stale and crumbly and had zero flavor.
I’m still rationing the king size packs.
Yum!
Sounds to me like they could be gone by expiration date, at least in my house. (Not that they expire with a flip of a switch)
