Now if only there was some way to combine the fork and spoon into one… maybe one day science can riddle this out.

In the U.S. dialect of English this is called a “spork.” There are spork folding pocket knives which separate into two pieces for use as tableware, more expensive than these dedicated sporks but handier to carry. They used to be called “hobo knives.”

Technically, a spork is a spoon utensil with the bowl divided into tines to work like a fork. This is not Spork. Live long and prosper.
