These are always a scam. They are cheap headphones with no special capabilities, available for an average of $4-10 on Alibaba. The “translation” ability has nothing to do with the hardware. It’s provided by a typically disappointing mystery app on your phone, and these, at best, can only keep up with short, simple phrases. A user recently reported that the app charges fees for everything. They almost always try to hide which app goes with the headphones so that you don’t know how bad it is.
The vendors/distributors (not even the manufacturers) will rotate in different models of cheap headphones to make it seem like they are innovating
