My god, I have been waiting for this for ages.
What is the date on these and the AA?
These are priced essentially the same on a per battery basis as the Amazon Basics AAA. I grabbed a pack of the Woot! deals in both sizes.

Here in Florida, all household batteries were made permanently exempt from sales tax since August 1, 2025. Amazon does not charge sales tax on Florida consumers for batteries, but WOOT still does!
Check the AA thread. This topic is covered pretty thoroughly.
I forgot about that. Thanks. Looks like Woot owes me 63 cents.
Put it in Thunderthighs tip jar
Um … why? The personal massager lobby got a law passed?
@kevinahalleck Yeah, but then you have to buy 36. ![]()
The pack of AAA I received shows a date of 12-2036 (printed on the batteries)
Hello. I sent a note to our finance group to take a look. In the meantime, just reach out to customer service.

It’s my understanding from reviews that the Amazon alkalines have a poor shelf life and don’t last as long. Please let me know if I’m wrong.
With the exception of this AAA offer and the similar Woot AA deal, we’ve been buying the Amazon Basics alkaline batteries in all sizes rather regularly for the past few years due to their lower prices and we’ve seen little perceptible differences between them and brand names in terms of shelf life and actual usage. Of course, that is based purely upon personal impressions and not scientific studies, so YMMV.

Hi there. Sorry. Amazon chooses the shipment style/method for items shipping out of their warehouses.
Feel free to reach out to customer service.
Why is it refusing to ship to Delaware? The sales stats show previous buyers in Delaware, and we have PLENTY of Amazon warehouses.
