Love this thing! We bought one about a year ago and it’s a breeze to use. We don’t use it all the time, but it’s a time saver when we do. We use it most often when snow is melting and grass becomes mud and the streets are filthy from the snow holding 6 months of dirt and grim. We used it today on our dog after a walk around the neighborhood. Soooo much easier than putting him in the tub. When I first saw this product I figured water would get everywhere. It certainly has that potential , but if you are prepared with a towel it’s not an issue. After cleaning your dog’s paw in the cup, squeeze excess water off over the cup. Towel off each foot as you go along and you’re good to go.
Same. I have a different brand but I love it. My dog has had issues with licking his paws and spots get raw. Especially in the rainy PNW they can pick up so much on their paws - pollen, chemicals, pathogens, and just dirt that can hang out between the pads and cause irritation.
After almost every walk we wash his paws with warm water and a touch of hibiclens or vinegar. I keep a bath mat by the garage door and a stack of wash cloths to dry. He stands on the bath mat and after paws are washed he gets a treat. It only takes about 5 minutes total and keeps his paws clean and healthy and my floors cleaner. I throw it in the dishwasher every so often.
One note - this took a little time for me and for him to get used to but now it’s part of the routine. Highly recommend, just be sure you get the right size. Also, when you are using it pay attention to how you are holding their legs, it’s best to hold the foot steady in a comfortable position and move the cup to ‘scrub’ the paws.
