Every time this deal pops up (it is a nice deal vs Woot mother Amazon)… I wonder how we’d use these. Since you could simply use double-sided 3M tape to attach the AirTag directly where you wish. It’s not like these cases disguise (and water-protect) what is inside like the bike versions that mount between your bottle cage and the frame.
I suppose you could posit the case would allow AirTag removal for the approximately annual AirTag battery replacement. But then you’d have to have ready access to the corner of the case to un-snap the case cover. Vs simply spinning the AirTag cover itself open to replace the battery.
Hmm… still tempted…
