Highly recommend. I’ve had my 5.11 sling bag/cross-body style backpack for over 15 years and it’s almost like new with regular use. I bought my wife the same one last year and she loves all the different “tactical” patches you can get for it. Steep price, but so worth it. You’ll spend much more over the years replacing inferior packs.
I second @TheThinMan69 comments. I’ve also had this same pack for about 15 years and have lived out of it for months at a time. Traveled the US last year for about 6 months ith just this (and my stupid effing CPAP). Great bag. I had to keep a list in it to remember were I put things because it has about 100000 pockets. Also the Molle is very helpful and there are a tons of useful things you can hang from it (like a water bottle)
