These suck. Incredibly cheap and chinsy. They spark like crazy when you’re trying to make the connection and if you don’t get it just right, they don’t work. They feel like a fire hazard. They fall apart easily and do not sit right when screwed in because they bend so easily. Save your money.
Return them! (Also, you’re supposed to turn off the electric breakers when you install outlets.) Here’s the blurb.

They do bend a bit, but all 5 outlets worked for me. What i didn’t like was that each cover had scratches on it. They arrived really poorly packaged and i think each outlet scratched the other one because they had no plastic wrap or protection between them. I kept them because most are in low visibility areas but i would not suggest others buy them.
We got ourd here over year ago and they have held up well 4 us…no issues. Mayb u got a bad batch?
100% agree on turning off the breaker, but they were so loose fitting that I couldn’t tell if they had properly connected so had to try with power on instead of running up and down the stairs every time. Thank you for the suggestions. More of a buyer beware than anything.
