They were also getting pretty roasted for quality on slickdeals during that promotion. Goes to show that when they can’t dump it on the mothership it ends up here.
They self-discharge as fast as when they’re being used. Truly a terrible battery.
You gotta watch some slickdeals comments, when it comes to rechargeable batteries, anything not eneloops is trash that drains too fast, etc etc. It’s half trolling, half eneloops shill, same thing happens with anything polyester. And sucralose. Almost every popular slickdeals comments section has the issue.
That being said idk much about rechargeable batteries, so idk if these discharge or w/e with regular use. And the reviews of the 2000mAh are pretty bad. But I grabbed some for my Xbox controller when they were $6.67 on amazon

Since I can’t go back in time because my transporter, ironically, is out of AAA batteries, I can live with this decent WooTF deal’s price. If anyone cares, the date on the batteries (which arrived fully charged) says MFG NOV 2022. Here’s my little ceramic tree going strong, powered by these very batteries which arrived recently.
