Wow, Costco has these on clearance right now for $37.97 for a 9 pack. This is a really good deal!
Agreed! Sam’s had them randomly for sale for $8 late last year. Not on clearance or a “sale”, it was just the price they were selling them at the time… My only regret is only buying 3 of them. Still, this is a good price.
Why the photos with Spanish?
We were just looking at these at Costco, and we decided it would have to wait.
This is a really good price!
Maybe these were packaged for a Spanish-speaking market?
Overall $3 per head is pretty typical for oral-b heads. The floss actions are always inflated about double that and personally I think they’re one of their worst brush heads available. I’ve had way better success with their other heads and they are always half the price.
Definitely to each their own, but the floss actions are my favorites. The others always seem too soft for me.
Talk to your dentist about it and get their opinion. Personally mine suggests super soft to cut down on enamel removal. Most people brush too hard and with too hard of bristles and it only damages the teeth in the long run. The toothpaste is doing the majority of the heavy lifting. You can brush your teeth with your finger and toothpaste and accomplish very similar results. There is no replacement for flossing in my experiences. I agree though its completely all about preference and age. The older you get the quicker you realize how much damage heavy brushing does. There is a finite amount of tooth.
Just a dental hygienist jumping into the convo. You’re right that flossing is very important and we’d rather see patients doing that, as it’s the only time in between the teeth are touched. That said, toothpaste doesn’t actually matter all that much—it’s the mechanical movement of the toothbrush removing plaque that is important. But you definitely want that to be a soft technique. The power of the Oral B electric is plenty to get that done; to each their own for what head they like. If you’re a rough brushed already, the floss action may not be a good idea for you because of the firmer components. If you’re a fan of them though, you can always lighten your brushing by holding your brush with a couple fingers instead of your entire hand—prevents you from applying as much pressure.
Because Spanish speaking people brush their teeth also.
