(8 PACK) SINCEHOLY Lithium AA Rechargeable Batteries 1.5V 3000mWh

Anyone have any experience with lithium AA batteries in general? I don’t like the charger of these, but there is a set on the mother ship that uses an open, flat charger for three dollars more.

My problem with the nimh batteries I’ve been “using” is that they suck at holding a charge when not in use. So by the time the batteries in the remote need to be charged, for example, the cells sitting on the shelf need a charge, too. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a set on standby.

I’d love to hear any praise or horror stories you got on lithium cells of this type.

They’re great.

Across the 4 or 5 brands I’ve tried, and I predominantly use the style with built in charge port, they are exceptional. High drain or low drain, they perform. I get less time from them, than alkaline, in low-drain (like a clock) but it’s not inconvenient.

I have a collection of digital deadbolts, all presently operating flawlessly on their first charge, of months ago.

One issue, some manufavturers don’t have precise enough tollerances, so on some of the brands, the battery will be just a hair short, so you might need to shim it with somethibg conductive, like a postage stamp sized piece of alum. foil.

Otherwise, I’m so please to be done throwing away batteries.

Oh, I expect that. I don’t mind swapping them out more frequently to save money. It’s the self-discharge that bothers me.

I appreciate the insight.

A 4-pack with USB-C that I bought from the mothership in 2022 are still going fine. The 10-pack with USB-C that I bought here at Woot last year, not so much. One committed seppuku, scorched end and all, and took out the other 3. The remaining 6 are still in use.

I picked these up during Prime Days, but haven’t even been in use for one cycle yet, so it’s too early to say how well they’ll hold up.

Looks like a good deal. Thanks!

I was on the fence, but since holy, what the hey. As long as they don’t turn into a burning bush.
