In seriousness, this IS a good deal, just be careful about tazing yourself on main power; I now have a permanent muscle jitter. If you’ve been struggling to test some DIY electronics like me, this should make it easier by providing power draw readings when things work, or don’t. Don’t expect this to make you a capable engineer on its own, but there’s a good bundle of reasons every lab bench includes a variable DC power supply.
As a further clarification, using this box is WAY safer than trying to DIY an alternative, as components that might be unshielded for cost-savings SHOULD NOT BE. This isn’t big enough for larger electrical work, but is about as big as an apartment would safely host.
Who ever made the pics and entered the info for this thing clearly does not speak English or at least doesn’t know technical terms. This is written comically bad.
Although the device itself may be perfectly fine, not sure, I haven’t use this particular one before.
