Mine shipped with a cracked volume knob, which seems to be an issue that happens occasionally since I’m seeing reports of similar problems on Amazon. Visually the crack isn’t that big of a deal and is barely noticeable, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be working correctly either, and the volume knob is non-responsive a lot of the time, or will go in the wrong direction briefly when I first start turning it.
Everything else about this keyboard is spectacular and it’s probably the best of the retro series of keyboards that 8BitDo has produced. The keys are a little hard to read when the backlights are at full power, but they’re perfectly legible at the lower brightness settings and if you know how to touch type it shouldn’t be a problem.
