There is currently an overnight line in NYC for seats in the Trump trial.
Two weeks ago HS kids arrived at 6 AM & got in no problem.
Taylor Swift tickets may also qualify along with the Super Bowl or other sporting events.
I had gone out at 5-6 AM a couple times for Black Friday deals but that was a while back.
Diapers would have some absorbency. These are underpants (i.e. underwear)
Yes, I read that “Line Waiters” are a thing in NYC. For the trial, someone stood in line for 5 hours and was paid $250. You gotta give these people credit for creativity.
One guy was paid $2000 for the night shift to hold a space for 1 person for Tuesday 5/14.
There were 2 seats paid for this AM. One went for $2000 again, but the deal was made this AM after the prson had spent the night hoping to get themselves in. The other went for $450.
FYI, there is very limited seating inside the courtroom itself for the public. One bench.
There is also public seating in the overflow room where you can watch on live video feed with a lot of press & others covering the trial. That could acct for the $2000 vs $450 going price dif.
This week has had a bevy of elected GOPers coming up fron DC & elsewhere to support DJTand make statements. They did not stand in line with their uniform RED ties, WHITE shirts & BLUE suits all night.
They were allowed into the courtroom as PART of the defense team. They followed Trump attys, DJT and then the GOPers through the hallway from the defense team’s room & were allowed into the courtroom. Trump was also passing notes to them during the case.
