Help! Ordered this model at a price of $839.99 + tax on 9/15 with estimated delivery of 9/22. Been stuck in “Preparing For Shipment” limbo ever since. Status told me that it was sold out a few days after I purchased.
I emailed support for an update and was told “We are currently experiencing delays with your order and we are unable to provide an exact shipping date at this time. We are working to ship this item out as soon as possible, but if you would rather cancel your order for a full refund, please let us know.”
However, now I see a new deal for the exact same model laptop that was supposedly sold out, but this time its at at a lower price of $799.99. Welp…what do I do? I just want the laptop and need to know when the heck its arriving to avoid the porch pirates. Anybody? Bueller?..
Hi there. Sorry for the frustration. It’s shipping by/from Amazon so we’re at their mercy. I’ve sent an email to see if someone can look into it.
Thanks for checking! I suppose I could cancel the order and reorder it for $40 bucks cheaper but I don’t want to screw things up and wait even longer. It’s not worth the $ to me. I would just rather have the laptop and know when to expect it so it doesn’t get stolen by the local vermin. Appreciate the effort TT!
Hey there! Still zilch information on this other than “experiencing a delay…yada…yada…yada”. I’m just totally perplexed at how they could sell this at a lower price while I’m still waiting on ANY information about my transaction which I purchased at a higher price. a week prior. Maddening. Even a guess, a stab, an estimate, a ballpark, on shipping. Anything is better than the same story over and over. I don’t want to cancel the order but I was hoping for some real info before yet another weekend is here. Crickets…
Hi there. You should have gotten an email from customer service yesterday about the delay. Amazon found the problem on their end and said it would take a few days to resolve. We’re waiting on them. If you would prefer to cancel, reach out to customer service.
Hi and thanks for the response! I did get an email, but unfortunately it didn’t give me any real info. You actually just told me more than the email did. If it really is a few days then I definitely do not want to cancel it. I’m just worried that days will turn into weeks and then months. Especially since my credit card was charged on 9/15 so i’m paying interest on something that hasn’t even shipped and I don’t have a real date to expect it. I’ll wait a few days and then decide next week. Thank you again for helping!
