Is this gaming PC internally expandable?
Kinda hard to say. The pc’s that I’ve had have additional bays for memory expansion, but the specs don’t say specifically. On the I/O expansion specs it says (1) 1x and (1) 16x, but I suspect those may both be in use.
Considering the black Friday deal for this was ~699, not the worst deal but it could be better. At that price, bundling it with a 1080p monitor would probably do it IMHO.
As pointed out the last time these were sold, make sure you update the BIOS ASAP to prevent the CPU from burning itself up.

Scroll down to BIOS updates and get the latest, though supposedly any version from 1.03 on includes the patch. The short description of 1.05 makes it look pretty important though.
The memory can be upgraded to 32 GB but I’m also not sure about the PCIe slots.
