Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

Either I’m blind, or there is no product brand for these? They look a bit like the set of Bohms I picked up a few years ago that my wife really loves, but I can’t really see anything showing the brand.

COWIN E7 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones with Bluetooth and Mic
$39.99 at Newegg

They do look a lot like my cowin E7–I bought about 3 years ago. Was not happy with those. Among other things, the fit was a bit too tight and the bluetooth seemed a little scratchy. Even with the wired not happy with the sound. Ended up getting a Sony ( WHCH710N) which I am very happy with (both the over the ear comfort and the sound–turns out I prefer over-the-ear to on-ear)

Reviews don’t match the Cowin E7 listing on the mothership.

The Silensys looks exactly the same:

$36 on the mothership. Warranty is the mystery Amazon “contact seller for Warranty info” Warranty.

100% match here on Amazon including model photos, ratings, and specs:

Considering the directions on slide four instructs you to TOP AND HOLD to change tracks, I’d be leary about buying this. If they cant proofread, how likely is it they get the manufacturing right?

If you go to the Amazon page you will find two other brands at varying prices that are the EXACT SAME headphone! The Silensys E7 ($39.99) and the Tapvos E7 ($54.99). My bet is these are some Chinese knock off with fake reviews.

On products with the AMZN reviews, you can pull the AMZN item number out of the URL in the address bar when viewing the reviews.

In this case it is “B09B9R6RQM” which coincides exactly with the item an earlier poster mentioned.

Why did I not realize this? It’s so obvious! Thanks for pointing it out.

Don’t be too hard on yourself…somebody had to tell me about it. LOL

These look exactly the same as a pair of Cowin E7 headphones that I’ve had for about 5 years. While I don’t think the noise cancelling feature is all that great on them, I like them quite a bit. It has excellent battery life, the sound quality is decent, they have a built-in mic for Zoom calls and they are very light-weight. After using another set that I thought would be better quality, I switched back to this set. The ‘higher quality’ headphones were noticeably more heavy and the battery didn’t last more than a few days. There were also issues with the software they required, and then there was a dongle… I greatly prefer the Cowin E7 as a daily use headset.

I bought these a few years ago and was very surprised with the sound quality for the price. I was actually reading up on a new pair of AFFORDABLE Bluetooth headphones, to replace my old Klipsch ones.

While these are far from perfect, I can forgo those imperfections for the sound quality and price. I also have a huge head, and these felt more proper than most headphones I’ve used.

They’re a bit bulky, but I only noticed this because of wearing them to listen in bed.

Also, iPhone some how prevents the volume from very low audio levels. Again, only something you’d probably notice if you wanted them a bit more quiet for sleep.

Other than that, as an audiophile, I cannot speak highly enough for this brand and their super affordable pricing, on their entire product line.

I’d assume these are priced low because they’re releasing a new model. I bought these for ~$55 a few years ago.

Just last week, I purchased the latest Sennheiser headset. While I can noticeably register the audio differences, I’d say that the average person wouldn’t notice much of a difference. DEFINITELY not a $200 difference in audio quality!

(But again, I’m an audiophile… so noticing those differences is in my nature.)

Dammit. You hang around a barber shop long enough you’re going to get a haircut.

You (or rather me) hang out in a headphone thread you’re going to get a pair. lol

Right, but that’s the Quisebin listing.

The Cowin E7 listing is here. Note the reviews are different from those linked to this Cowin listing on Woot.

BTW, the phony Photoshopped booty pic of the girl in the gym (“Ergonomic design perfect for workout/gym”) just creeps me out

None of these are name brands, so is there one dominant one that is being copycatted, or are they all the same underlying manufacturer and product?

That’s exactly right. I don’t know for sure of course, but I’m wagering I’ll be receiving the Quisebin brand. Everybody keeps bringing up these other brands on nothing more than speculation.

They’re probably the same…

Looks like this is it…and they are described as over-the -ear; not on-ear. clearly my memory of the phones are not as reliable as I thought they were. In my defense, they are in my office–which I haven’t gone to in almost 2 years (I did bring my Sony home…but left the Cowin at work for calls. Oh well)

I am glad that you are safe and able to work from home.

It is also possible that this company makes the same item and brands them for Cowin and others as a contractor.

Did anybody catch that “comfortable protein earpads”?

Since “they” usually say “vegan leather” I’m thinking these might have real leather earpads.
