I didn’t even realize that SCSI was still a thing. I would have thought all those old devices would have died by now. I had the PCI version of this in a PC to interface to an 11 x 17 scanner back in the 1990’s…
Was running Novell DOS (drivers always crashed in MS-DOS). Windows '98 and eventually Windows 2000 had much better drivers. I was bummed when the fluorescent light source in the scanner died and there were no replacements available.
Now I have an “All-in-One” device (printer, scanner, fax) with 11 x 17 bed, that runs USB 3.0 or wi-fi.
This joke confuses me. Is the punchline the fact that this SCSI card is being sold 20 days before the year 2021? Or is the punchline that it is on sale for over $50???
My Zip drives could live again!
“PCI for Power Macintosh”
My god, Woot! is an MIT Swapfest from 25 years ago now.
For a Barbie Mac? Should we expect Steve to rise from the dead also? Someone found this in a back corner in a storage closet gathering dust.
