I’ve been trying to add a new credit card to pay through Amazon pay. Every time I enter it, it says it’s added to my wallet, but it won’t let me use this card for a purchase I am trying to make. It’s a Visa. How do I add this card to pay with? It’s only letting me use my card that is saved through Amazon Pay I guess when I set up my Woot account.
Are you adding it through Amazon or Woot? I think you have to set it up on Amazon’s site first and then try to use it on Woot. I could be wrong, obviously.
If you add it through Woot, I don’t think it goes through Amazon Pay so it wouldn’t see whatever card you’ve added, if I understand things correctly.

To add to amazon pay, up you have to go through Amazon. If you’ve done that, try logging out of both amazon and woot so they can sync up.

THIS DOESN’T WORK - SO THERE ARE MESSAGES FROM MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE - YOU CANNOT USE A DEBIT CARD ON AMAZON TO PAY - SOMEONE EVEN SAID TO UNCHECK THE ‘USE AS DEBIT CARD’ BOX ON AMAZON - NOPE THAT DON’T WORK EITHER. SO HERE’S WHAT I HAD TO DO - I HAD TO ADD A PAYMENT METHOD ON WOOT - PAY WITHOUT USING MY AMAZON ACCOUNT - AND AS A PRIME MEMBER THAT SUCKS. I GOT CHARGED A $6.00 SHIPPING FEE FOR DOING THAT - SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS. NOBODY HELPS - THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG TIME. IS WOOT NOT FIXING IT BECAUSE THE SHIPPING FEES ARE PROFITABLE HA HA - I’D LIKE A REFUND FOR THAT SHIPPING FEE - GET SOMEONE IN IT TO FIX IT. THIS IS SO STUPID THAT IT HAS GONE ON SO LONG.
Hi there. In the other thread where you posted, I asked if you could try a fix that worked for another customer.
We’re relying on Amazon to research and fix this as the issue is with their payment system. At this time, they haven’t been able to reproduce the error.
