Description says it includes a study area… But I don’t see one in the pictures? Is this the wrong description?
I know lol! …can this be used w a normal rigid coiled orthopedic mattress ?.? I have painful back issues and have been looking for an adjustable i can afford. This would be a dream come true but i don’t know if it a regular coil mattress would work. Someone Help Please

I don’t know 100%, but I’d say no. Are spring based beds typically rigid? Yes. What mattresses are known for being malleable? Many memory foam mattress’s (not all), and futon mattresses.
I have an adjustable bed similar to this one and I can only use a memory foam, or “hybrid” mattress, (a combination of memory foam on the bottom and coils on top) It’s my understanding the innerspring mattresses aren’t flexible enough. You can find a memory foam, “bed in a box” relatively inexpensive, it might be worthwhile to check into getting a new mattress. I personally prefer a “regular” innerspring mattress, but not enough to give up my adjustable bed….it has helped my back problems immensely. Even my husband who thought it was a gimmick sleeps much better now 
They make hospital bedrails for this thing?
Hey Elle sorry it took so long to reply. Life has been crazy w loved ones illness. Wow sounds amazing!..can you tell me the brand of the hybrid mattress you use? The thing I’m concerned about w any foam is Heat…they tend to be hot and some ppl have allergic reactions or sensitivities to the chemicals they’re typically made w like formaldehyde etc…and lack of firm support. This "conforming " to the body thing is the Opposite of the orthopedic support I need. So glad it’s working for you. I hope to report the same.
