OK, so I’ve added both items to the cart, but when I go to check out, the discount to 59.99 is not being applied. I’m also a Prime member, and I’m being shown a $24 s/h fee.
Hi there. Check to see if you’re being asked to verify address or payment info.
The $24 shipping is because Prime members are getting free 2-day shipping on some items. The $24 will drop off when it recalculates after you confirm information.
This is outdated software.
I just spent 90 minutes on tech support with Adobe. Make sure that you get the serial number from Woot, otherwise Adobe will not let you register the product and get support.
Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Please contact Woot Customer Service, they could help regarding this issue. From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.
In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Are you saying that you didn’t get a serial number from Woot?
Having a bad day? We all have them. While the $50 price for each - Elements and Premiere is not(edit!) super uncommon, $59 for both is a very nice deal. Yes, version 2021 is available, but the new features wouldn’t make us upgrade from 2020. Version 2020 was a bigger upgrade. You can see a comparison back to the 2018 version here…
As Elements users since version 1.0, from personal experience, you don’t need to buy every single upgrade. Would be a complete waste of money.
We’ve only updated every several versions, sometimes skipping 4 versions or more.
You look at the new features and if there’s something you cannot live without, you upgrade.
A key function of this product for us - we don’t like simply trusting our many thousands of photos to a cloud service that might not be there in the future. In fact, that is the primary reason we bought “Photoshop Album” back when it was a free-standing product from Photoshop Elements. It is now included. To organize, tag, and backup our photos locally to external media. We asked ourselves, of all the options decades ago, who was likely to be around in the future? So far it has been a good choice.
But while we understand why software companies are pushing everyone into cloud based solutions both due to support and revenue stream reasons, we really detest the way Adobe and Microsoft are pushing it so hard.
Regarding always wanting to be on the latest version of software, from experience, I’d wait until the new version (2021) has been out for a while. Each new version always has bugs. In fact, a solid reason to instead buy this Woot 2020 version at this point.
I don’t care if it is slightly outdated. I am trying to learn basics. The special says add Adobe premium + Photoshop Elements as a bundle for $59.99. The page offered the deal. When I do that it still comes up for $99.99 as a total plus tax. I see at least one person was able to get it for $59.99. Shouldn’t it be automatic? Please help!
Thanks!!!
Pamela
To have your discount and Prime shipping, you need to manually select a listed Amazon linked credit card each time. May seem redundant but if you clear cookies as I do then that appears necessary on Woot. Hope this helps others as well.
Hazarding a guess, it is an older card number based system rather than a user account tracking system used by the mothership where card info is not transmitted in a transaction. I think the latter offers more security. Woot techno mavens may want to comment. Since Woot is a part of the same company, then consider to use (or keep) the better method for security.emphasized text
I tried about 3 different ways, added a new CC to Amazon, cleared cookies twice, and it still didn’t take the $40 off for me
More than a little bummed about this…
Why doesn’t the deal work. Is there a code ? The price is $99.00 instead of $59.00???
Haven’t been able to make the $59 deal for both products work either. I tried on both my iPhone and my windows laptop, and tried the suggestion of selecting an Amazon verified credit card each time, but no luck. This is very disappointing. Shame on you Woot. This should be automatic.
Hi there. It looks like the benefit for this promotion ended so I ended the offers for now. I’ve let the computer team know.
Since the price dropped from $49.99 to $38.99 for each of these recently, will Woot! be offering partial refunds to those of us who paid the higher price? Do we need to do anything to request the price adjustment?
Sorry - to $31.99 - typo by me.
Yesterday’s price was $31.99 x 2 = $63.98
In December, you paid $49.99 x 2 and got a $40 discount for buying both = 59.98
You can pay us $4 more if you want. We’ll always accept it.
Apologies. The receipt in my email just showed the $49.99 price.
Amen. You should give gimp a try and completely unshackle yourself from the yoke of Corporate America
