Was considering buying this for my new Mac but itâs the 2023 that is native for the Apple Mx chips
2022 will run under Rosetta 2 but based on my brief research your going to want to ignore any disc in the package and download the latest from Adobe
The early versions would not even install on M1
$10 discount on the January price for pretty good software. Works great with Windows as well as Apple products. Photo organizer w/ facial recognition works well if you have tons of photos (or are just disorganized 
)
For video editing, you can get Davinci Resolve for free, and itâs very capable, but is also pretty complicated. A friend of mine loves it, but I only use it for color grading and things like that. For actual video editing, I find the Premier Elements much easier and faster to get what I want done.
As an example, someone I work with needed to edit a video, and tried it in Davinci Resolve, and after a few days just couldnât figure out how to get what he wanted, so I set him up with Premier Elements (2020 version) and in the same time he had completely edited the video, added video effects and adjusted the audio. For this price (basically $23), it seems like a great tool to have available.
If youâre a pro, itâs probably not going to work for you, but for the average person, I think it does a pretty good job. And like I do, you can always use Davinci Resolve for the things this doesnât do.
I just purchased the one with only Photoshop Elements. I should have waited for this one instead.

So is this a disc? Or a download? I donât have a disc drive on my Mac.
Itâs a disc, as listed in the name (last word of the title) â although it doesnât show up on this page, oddly enough.
You can pick up name-brand external DVD drives cheaply (under $30). Based on my experience with external drives, I would pay the few dollars more for a name-brand one vs a cheaper no-name. I had a cheap one die on me.
I realize that if you never use the drive for anything else, it might not be worth it. But theyâre nice to have and it should work as long as we have USB ports.
There is a download code in the box, and no problems installing on MacBook Pro. I purchased this 12/31/22, for $66.99.
Is this a purchase to own product or is this item only good for a year like their subscription service? I want to buy to own my software.

So mine came today and it took a couple tries to install,asks for the 25 digit serial number from the DVD sleeve which was not on there⌠selling refurbished software now ?
No. Did you check the box for the SN in another area - in the license info, user guide, etc.
FYI, for others who may run into this â if you download from Adobe it will by default give you the 2023 version and this serial number wonât work on that (came back invalid, and I thought for a minute it had been used fraudulently). I had to go hunt for a link to the 2022 software.
