I was debating on buying this since I have another non-Lego pirate ship, but decided against it for several reasons.
1st these are mini-bricks, which are much harder to put together and are not compatible with Lego. Once I saw they were the mini sized, I decided against it, I only built one mini set before and my fingers hurt after a small set, I could only imagine how much it would hurt to build a large set like this ( 3399 PCS!).
In the reviews I am also seeing several people describing how areas of this will fall apart easily because they aren’t interlocked well. I never built a “BrickTribe” brand before, but some of the off brands are as good as name brand, so I wasn’t worried about that until I saw the reviews.
And the last reason I won’t be buying this, the price. Right now here it is $44.99, the mothership has it for $49.98, so not a great savings, if it was a greater savings I might have taken the chance and punished myself building another mini kit.
