Fyi, this being a 2019 model, i did ask the question about seed heath being 3 yrs old… i bought n good faith. i set this up, just like my last 3 aerogarden purchases which worked well from woot…3 wks later, no sprouts. These older models are with defects
I have these as well and love them Can’t you just use your own seeds year to year?
The AeroGarden company is actually AWESOME at replacing seeds for FREE if they don’t sprout for you - just fill out the form on their website, and they will send out replacements 
What if my seeds don’t germinate?
We back all of our seed pods with a 100% germination guarantee and will replace any pod that fails to sprout after 21 days. ‘Please send an email through our Contact Us form and include your name, address, phone number, and name of your pod(s) that didn’t germinate so we can send you a replacement and help troubleshoot. Good to know. Thank you as well! I can call them but not sure they will honor replacement of seeds that r 3-4 years old but worth a shot. Will provide and update soon.
I dont know if u can use ur own seeds. When i reach out 3 them about replacement seeds, i will ask this also. Will update as soon as i know more

Yup, I’ve used my own seeds many times. Works great. Aerogarden does stand behind their stuff and are pretty quick to back to you if you have a problem.
