Is the filter cap larger diameter than the standard model?

Found this here:
The XL’s larger size also means a larger filter cap and subsequently larger filters must be used. This means you can’t just buy standard AeroPress filters (which also fit the Go), you’ll need ones made specifically for the XL.

I got mine today. They just slapped the shipping label on the regular box. They didn’t even add any tape. It was barely holding together. Fortunately, everything was in the box and nothing was damaged.
Woot, please tell the vendor to do better.
Thanks for the info. I have several gizmos for the original that I use, except for the crazy K-cup adapter!
